How do I use Unsubscribe by Mailbutler?

Mailbutler lets you unsubscribe from unwished newsletters easily by placing an unsubscribe button at the top of your newsletter.

Unsubscribe from an email in Apple Mail

1. Open Apple Mail.

2. Open the newsletter you wish to unsubscribe from.

3. From the green banner on top of your message, click Unsubscribe.

Please note, only unsubscribe from a newsletter and NOT from spam emails. Mark them as spam!

How to disable Unsubscribe in your Dashboard

1. Visit your Mailbutler dashboard ( http://mailbutler.io/).

2. Locate the Preferences tab by clicking on the menu icon next to your name (located on the right-hand side of the dashboard).

3. Locate Unsubscribe and unclick the ‘enable unsubscribe‘ box to disable it.

How does Unsubscribe work?

Most email publishers, marketers and email platforms include a List-Unsubscribe header to their emails. There are two types of List-Unsubscribe header, unsubscribe via a link or unsubscribe by email. Mailbutler displays a unsubscribe button at the top of the email if the header includes List-Unsubscribe information and automatically unsubscribe your email address from the newsletter list.

Please note, Mailbutler can only display the unsubscribe button if the email header includes the List-Unsubscribe information.
