How do I install and update to the new Mailbutler from legacy versions?

Please follow the instructions below to switch from legacy versions of Mailbutler to the latest version.

  1. Before updating, please make sure you have moved all your scheduled emails out of your Outbox to Drafts.
  2. Login to your new Dashboard with your current Mailbutler account.

  3. Click on your profile icon on top right and go to Downloads.

  4. Download and install the plugin for Apple Mail.

  5. Open your Downloads folder and double click on the zip file.
  6. Double click on the Mailbutler installer file to start the installation process.
  7. Confirm the installation by clicking Open.
  8. Click the button to move Mailbutler into your Applications Folder.
  9. If requested, click OK to give permission to install Mailbutler.

  10. Enter your password if needed.
  11. Follow the rest of the instructions to complete the installation.
  12. Once the installation is complete, restart Apple Mail.
  13. (For macOS Mojave users only) After installation, please also enable Mailbutler manually by following the instructions here.
  14. After restarting Apple Mail, click on the Mailbutler icon in the menu bar and go to the Login tab to log in to your account and activate the plugin
  15. If you had previously used Mailbutler with external services (such as Wunderlist), you can now reconnect your previous service integrations through Integrations.

  16. Start using the new Mailbutler
