How do I use Message Templates in my email?

Message Templates by Mailbutler allows you to save pre-written rich email templates and insert them when composing an email, a huge time-saver for users and teams who need to send the same email repeatedly. You can further make use of Message Templates by sharing them with your team.

This article shows you how to insert a Message Template in your email with Mailbutler.

🙌 This feature can be extended in Mailbutler for Teams. You can share created items with your team members.

Message Templates in Apple Mail

You can either insert a Message Template before or after you have started composing a message on Apple Mail.

  • To start an email with a Message Template, click on the drop-down menu button next to your compose button:

  • To insert a Message Template after you began composing, click the Message Template button in your compose window:

Message Templates in Gmail

You can either insert a Message Template before or after you have started composing a message in Gmail.

  • To start an email with a Message Template, click on the drop-down menu button next to your compose button:

Message Templates in Outlook

1. Open Outlook

2. Start composing a message

3. Open the Mailbutler add-in

4. Select the Message template you would like to use.

Message Templates on Mobile

1. To start writing an email click on the airplane icon at the bottom right of your screen.

2. To insert a Message Template, click the Message Template button: {+} in your compose window.
